Katsina United players protested five months of unpaid salaries just before their home match against Bendel Insurance on Wednesday.
A source close to the team called the situation “suicidal.” The players still took the pitch but lost 1-0. Club management has not commented on the wage delay, reigniting concerns over financial instability in the NPFL.
