Mahama Marks One Year in Office

President John Mahama is marking one year in office with a national thanksgiving service today. The non-denominational event is being held at the forecourt of Jubilee House in Accra.

The service is scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m. Religious leaders, senior government officials, and members of the diplomatic corps are attending. Invited guests will join in reflecting on the administration’s first year in power. The event is held under the theme “Resetting. Rebuilding. Renewing.”

It aims to give thanks for Ghana’s stability over the past year. The ceremony also reaffirms the government’s commitment to national renewal and inclusive governance.
