Manchester City are close to signing Ghana international Antoine Semenyo. The Premier League champions have reached an agreement with Bournemouth for the forward. Semenyo is expected to join City on a long-term deal in the January transfer window. The transfer fee is reported to be £65 million. The 26-year-old turned down interest from four other Premier League clubs.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Liverpool all showed interest. Semenyo reportedly preferred a move to work under Pep Guardiola. He is scheduled to undergo his medical with Manchester City on Thursday, January 8.
