Kwesi Arthur Alleges Ground Up Dispute

Kwesi Arthur says he has not earned any money from music released under Ground Up Chale. The rapper accused music executive Glen Boateng and the Ground Up team of intimidation and financial demands.

He claimed he is being asked to pay $150,000 to use images of himself for a current project. Kwesi Arthur alleged that his former management claims ownership of his image and music since 2016. He said he has had no working relationship with Ground Up since the release of Son of Jacob. Despite this, he claims he has received threats and earned nothing from his work during that period.

The artiste warned that any takedown of his independent project should be blamed on his former manager. Ground Up Chale and Glen Boateng have not yet responded publicly to the allegations.
