In 2025, Togo recorded the best mobile internet performance in the WAEMU region. The announcement was made by the regulatory authority ARCEP on March 17, 2026. According to the nPerf report, Yas Togo ranked first and Moov Africa Togo second in customer experience quality. This means Togo maintained its leading position, as it did in 2023.
Both operators also placed among the top ten in Africa. The evaluation measured speed, latency, browsing, and video streaming quality. ARCEP welcomed the results but said improvements are still needed, especially for browsing and video services. The study focused mainly on 4G, which carries most of the country’s mobile internet traffic.
