Assemblée nationale de Côte d’Ivoire has approved a major national development plan. The law covers the 2026–2030 period and guides the country’s economic policy. It was adopted unanimously under the leadership of Patrick Achi. The total budget is 114,838.5 billion CFA francs. About 70% will come from the private sector, while 30% will be public funding.
The plan focuses on six key areas including energy, transport, and agriculture. It targets a 7.2% annual growth rate and higher income levels by 2030. The bill will now go to the Senate before it becomes law.
