The Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has promoted seven officers in Tema. The promotion recognises their bravery during a recent anti-robbery operation. The officers responded quickly to a robbery attack on a mobile money vendor at Tema Community 5. Two suspected robbers were shot during the operation. Police also retrieved a firearm, ammunition, and other items.
The promoted officers include Chief Inspector Enoch Nartey Nuer and six others. The IGP praised their discipline, courage, and dedication to duty. He urged all Ghana Police Service personnel to remain professional and committed.
