Nigerian authorities have uncovered a suspected methamphetamine laboratory in Ebonyi State and arrested a 40-year-old Mexican national, Arturo Carrera Loaiza, over alleged links to the operation.
The NDLEA says investigators found chemicals and equipment associated with synthetic drug production at the facility. Loaiza denies involvement and says he travelled to Nigeria after being invited to explore a restaurant business.
