The Nigerian Air Force has taken delivery of five new helicopters to strengthen air operations against extremist groups and other security threats across the country.
The delivery includes three AW109 Trekker B helicopters made by Leonardo Helicopters and two H125 helicopters from Airbus. The Air Force says the new platforms will improve operational flexibility and support for ground troops.
