The decision was reinforced during a press conference at Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire. Authorities say these activities harm sanitation, safety, and the city’s image. The plan includes public awareness campaigns followed by strict enforcement.
Security forces will ensure full compliance with the new rules. The policy aligns with the vision of President Alassane Ouattara for a modern city. Major development projects are also underway to improve infrastructure and living conditions.
