Guinea-Bissau’s opposition PAIGC has called for a boycott of the country’s constitutional referendum scheduled for August 30.
The vote will determine whether a new Constitution approved by transitional authorities comes into force.
The referendum follows political instability after the military seized power and suspended the electoral process.
Opposition leaders are urging supporters to reject the vote as the country prepares for further political transition.
