EACC Arrests Police Over Bribery Claims

Kenya’s Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested two police officers over alleged bribery in Mombasa.
The officers are accused of demanding 100,000 shillings from a man accused of illegally connecting electricity.

Detectives arrested the suspects after they allegedly received 50,000 shillings of the demanded amount.
The officers were later released on cash bail as investigations continue into the bribery allegations.
