Aného boosts tourism visibility

The coastal municipality of Lacs 1 has launched the second edition of Eductour Destination Aného. The event took place in Aného in late January 2026. It brought together about twenty professionals from tourism, media, and communication. The initiative aims to strengthen the city’s economic appeal and tourism profile. Participants visited key cultural, historical, and natural sites across the city.

The programme also included workshops and business-to-business networking sessions. Local authorities say the goal is to better structure Aného’s tourism offerings. They hope to promote the destination to visitors and travel agencies locally and abroad.
