Togo Backs Cooperatives with FCFA245m Equipment Tender

Togo has launched a FCFA245 million tender to equip youth and women’s cooperatives in the Savanes region. The initiative is being led by SP-EAU under the Social Cohesion Strengthening Project.

Funding comes from a grant by the African Development Fund of the African Development Bank. The tender is divided into four lots covering agriculture, processing, transport and livestock. Rice farming and market gardening equipment form the largest portion of the contract. Processing kits will support products such as néré, soybeans, shea and parboiled rice.

Eligible companies must show experience, financial capacity and good administrative standing. Bids close on February 6, 2026, as Togo pushes to boost rural livelihoods and cohesion.
