Veteran broadcaster Doreen Andoh will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards. The event, organised by Merqury Republic and powered by Smirnoff, will take place on November 29, 2025, at the Palms Convention Centre in Accra.
It will also be broadcast live on Joy Prime, part of the Multimedia Group. Doreen Andoh, known as “The Queen of the Airwaves,” has spent over 30 years shaping Ghanaian radio through her work at Joy FM. She currently hosts the popular mid-morning show Cosmopolitan Mix, which has inspired many young broadcasters. Organisers say the award celebrates her outstanding contribution to media and entertainment in Ghana.
This year’s honour also coincides with Joy FM’s 30th anniversary, marking a double milestone for the broadcaster. The recognition highlights her influence, professionalism, and enduring legacy in Ghana’s radio industry.
