The new Bouaké Regional Hospital Center (CHR) is now fully operational with 13 medical services and a modern technical platform. Equipped with advanced facilities such as scanner, MRI, mammography, mobile radiology, and panoramic dental imaging, the hospital offers specialized care close to home.
Inaugurated in April 2025, it serves as a reference hospital for the central region. Residents of the Gbêkê region can now access dermatology, gynecology, neurosurgery, and dental services without traveling far. Nassata Konaté Ouattara, a teacher, praised the quality of care and the brand-new equipment after visiting the dermatology and gynecology departments. Nanga Coulibaly said the hospital saved him from possible complications after he broke his foot in a fall.
The facility strengthens the regional health system and improves service delivery.It is part of a national project to build six hospitals in central and northern areas to ensure equal access to quality healthcare nationwide.
