Black Prophet has launched a bold campaign against tramadol abuse among Ghanaian youth. He announced that proceeds from the 2026 Sankofa Reggae Fest will fund a rehabilitation centre.
The festival is set for 6 March 2026 at Tawala Beach Resort. The artiste says children as young as 13 are becoming addicted to the drug. He described tramadol misuse as a growing threat to Ghana’s future and social stability. Black Prophet is financing the first phase himself and is calling for national support.
The event will feature international reggae acts, including Fidel Nadal and I Jah Bones. He urged government and citizens to work together to remove tramadol from the streets and protect the youth.
