Association des Cafés Robusta d’Afrique and International Trade Centre organised a coffee training programme in Abidjan. The sessions took place at Angré-Cocody with support from Conseil du Café-Cacao. Thirteen roasters and baristas received practical training and field experience. The programme focused on managing coffee bars and kiosks effectively. Funding was provided by the council and the European Union.
Participants were trained using international standards from the Specialty Coffee Association. The aim is to improve product quality and promote local coffee consumption. It also seeks to make Ivorian coffee more competitive globally.
