SGCI Increases Dividends Strongly

Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire has announced a sharp rise in dividends for 2025. The announcement was made by Patrick Blas during a results presentation in Abidjan. Shareholders will receive 81.081 billion FCFA, up from 57.9 billion FCFA last year. The bank says this reflects strong performance and confidence in future growth. Net profit stood at over 101 billion FCFA, with dividends representing 80% of earnings.

Total assets rose to 3,769 billion FCFA, while customer deposits also increased. However, expenses and risk costs went up due to investments and economic uncertainty. Despite this, the bank remains stable and plans further growth in 2026.
