President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Rwandan President Paul Kagame have agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation during talks at the Urugwiro Presidential Villa in Kigali ahead of the Africa CEO Forum.
Both leaders agreed to revive the Joint Permanent Ministerial Commission signed in 2021, with Nigeria expected to host the next session. Tinubu also said Nigeria would consider granting Rwandans visa-free entry in response to Rwanda’s existing 30-day visa-free policy for Nigerians. Discussions also covered tourism, anti-corruption cooperation, illicit drug control, and operationalising the African Continental Free Trade Area.
