The Independent National Electoral Commission says 2,077 Persons With Disabilities will participate in Saturday’s Ekiti governorship election. Assistive materials including Braille ballot guides and magnifying glasses have been deployed to all polling units.
INEC Chairman Professor Joash Amupitan said the commission has also included the SDP candidate on the ballot following a Supreme Court ruling. Security agencies have promised maximum deployment to ensure a peaceful and credible election.
