Nigeria and the Philippines have recorded a 700 percent increase in bilateral trade over the past three years. Philippine Ambassador Mersole Mellejor disclosed this during his country’s Independence Anniversary celebration in Abuja.
Trade between both countries reportedly rose from 47 million dollars in 2023 to 300 million dollars in 2025. Nigeria also reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation in health, education and technology.
