Education and justice experts have urged the creation of safe spaces in schools to combat bullying, abuse and gender-based violence. The call came during a workshop supported by the European Union in Abuja.
Participants said safe spaces would encourage victims to report abuse without fear. They also called for improved prevention strategies and wider training for school personnel across Nigeria.
