Adina said her grandmother’s ebibinwom singing in the Methodist church shaped her early musical taste. She added that her mother continued the tradition, deepening her connection to the sound.
Highlife legend Amandzeba strongly influenced her style and direction. She also mentioned Akosua Agyepong, Princess Cynthia and A.B. Crentsil as key inspirations. The event focused on preserving highlife as Ghana’s musical heritage. It featured experts like John Collins and highlighted its recognition by UNESCO.
