The Bureau of Public Procurement has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors to promote professionalism, transparency and accountability in public procurement. The commitment was made during a meeting in Abuja.
Director-General Adebowale Adedokun said the Bureau is implementing sector-based procurement thresholds and stricter contractor classification. NIQS pledged support for the reforms, including new policies on contract variations and final project designs.
