Kano State has commenced the second phase of its Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus Elimination campaign, targeting women of reproductive age in high-risk communities. The exercise focuses on areas missed during the first round.

Health Commissioner Abubakar Labaran said more than 96 percent of eligible women were vaccinated during the initial campaign. He urged women aged 15 to 49 to receive the free vaccine with support from development partners.
