The Federal Government has signed a partnership to modernise the Nigeria Police Force using digital tools. Communications Minister Bosun Tijani announced plans to deploy broadband, smart policing systems, and artificial intelligence nationwide.
The initiative includes mapping police stations near fibre networks and rolling out 90,000km of cables. AI tools will help record statements in multiple languages, improving accuracy and efficiency in police operations.
