The Federal Government has unveiled a $9 million Digital Economy Research Clusters initiative funded by the World Bank. The programme will engage universities to deliver policy-focused research across key areas of Nigeria’s digital economy.
Minister Bosun Tijani said the clusters will drive local innovation in connectivity, AI, and digital infrastructure. He noted Nigeria’s improved ranking in global AI readiness and highlighted projects like N-ATLAS as milestones.
