Gender Training Programme Expands in Côte d’Ivoire

In Côte d’Ivoire, the Chaire UNESCO Eau, Femmes et Pouvoir de Décisions (CUEFPOD) has launched a new training cohort in Gender Engineering. The programme aims to strengthen national and regional expertise in Gender and Development.

It seeks to train professionals who can promote inclusive social and institutional change. Participants are expected to apply gender equality principles in development projects and public policies. The initiative also promotes cooperation among experts working in governance and community development. Organisers say the training will help build stronger gender-responsive institutions.

The launch ceremony ended with a group photo and networking among participants. The gathering reflected the collaborative spirit of the Gender Engineering training programme.
