The Bank of Ghana has urged journalists to maintain accuracy and professionalism when reporting economic issues. The call was made by Communications Director Bernard Otabil during a media capacity-building workshop.
He noted that inaccurate reports on foreign exchange rates and economic indicators can mislead businesses and damage market confidence. Journalists were encouraged to provide deeper analysis and explain how economic policies affect ordinary citizens.
