Humanitarian Affairs Minister Bernard Doro says the HOPE Conditional Cash Transfer programme has reached 9.47 million households nationwide. He made this known during an engagement with beneficiaries in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, to assess the programme’s impact.
Doro explained that the initiative is part of a unified and transparent poverty response system designed to improve coordination across agencies. Beneficiaries say the support has helped cushion the impact of current economic challenges.
