Liberia has signed a new roaming agreement with Côte d’Ivoire to make cross-border communication easier for travellers. The country has also activated an earlier telecom partnership with Sierra Leone, enabling seamless calls and data use between the two nations.
The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications thanked the Liberia Telecommunications Authority, WATRA, and Côte d’Ivoire’s telecom regulator ARTCI for their support.
Officials say the moves will strengthen regional ties and improve connectivity across West Africa.
