Lomé to Host Africa Trade Forum in October

Lomé will host the Biashara Africa Forum from October 20 to 22. The event will focus on trade and investment under the AfCFTA. It was confirmed after talks between President Faure Gnassingbé and AfCFTA chief Wamkele Mene. Business leaders and officials will meet to discuss market access and investment opportunities. Togo was among the first countries to join the AfCFTA. Its deep-water port makes it a key trade hub in West Africa.

The forum aims to boost business links across the continent. AfCFTA seeks to create a single African market and grow intra-African trade.
