Rainforest Alliance Expands Partnerships in Côte d’Ivoire

Rainforest Alliance has strengthened its partnerships to protect forests and support children in Côte d’Ivoire. The initiative focuses mainly on cocoa-growing communities across the country. It aims to reduce deforestation and promote sustainable farming practices. The programme will also address child protection in agricultural areas. Local organisations and community groups will work closely with the alliance.

Training and awareness programmes will be organised for farmers and families. The effort seeks to improve environmental protection while supporting rural livelihoods. Officials say the partnerships will contribute to a more sustainable cocoa sector in Côte d’Ivoire.
