Non-financial services in Togo rebounded by 13.6% in December 2025. This followed a decline of 5.9% recorded in November. These services include sectors like trade, transport, hospitality, and telecommunications. On a yearly basis, growth reached 5.1%, close to the West African Economic and Monetary Union average. However, performance has been unstable, with sharp fluctuations throughout the year.
In contrast, financial services showed steady and consistent growth. The sector, including banks and insurance, grew by 4.7% in December and 15.2% year-on-year. This stability is driven by expanding banking systems and digital financial services.
