Krachi West MP Helen Ntoso warned boat operators against overloading, saying it endangers lives. Oti Regional Minister John Gyapong thanked the government for the support and compassion shown.
Fifteen people, including three children, died in the October 11 accident. The tragedy was blamed on overloading and poor balance of the boat.
