Speakers said women’s economic empowerment depends on access to justice and rights. Nassénéba Touré stressed that women are key to Africa’s development. Experts noted that many women still struggle to access land, finance, and legal protection.
A large financing gap continues to limit women-led businesses across Africa. Even where laws exist, implementation remains a major challenge. The event called for stronger policies to support women’s full economic participation.
