La Marmite Festival will be held from August 12 to 16, 2026 in Lomé. The fifth edition will focus on promoting integration and peaceful coexistence through food. The event has grown into a leading platform for African culinary culture. It will bring together chefs, producers, entrepreneurs, and food enthusiasts from across the region. Organisers aim to highlight the full food value chain, from farming to local consumption.
A new “Village of Flavors” will showcase traditional dishes from Togo and guest countries. Special “Prestige Encounters” will allow top chefs to share expertise and culinary traditions. About 50,000 visitors and 200 exhibitors are expected, alongside institutions and regional partners.
