Additionally, Benin’s National Assembly raised alarm over mismanagement of billions in malaria funds. Lawmakers demanded accountability and called for independent audits. Meanwhile, the health committee announced a new campaign to eradicate malaria by 2030. The opposition, however, criticized the plan as unrealistic without financial transparency. Citizens welcomed the dialogue but remained skeptical about implementation.
