CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers Kick Off in Abidjan

Côte d’Ivoire will host the WAFU B Zone qualifiers for the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League from 23 August to 5 September at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium. Eight of West Africa’s top women’s clubs will compete for a single spot at the continental finals.

Nigeria’s Bayelsa Queens, winners of the first Women’s Champions League in 2021, headline Group B with Ghana’s Police Ladies, Togo’s ASKO, and Benin’s Sam Nelly. Hosts ASEC Mimosas lead Group A alongside AS Garde Nationale du Niger and Burkina Faso’s USFA.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals on 2 September, with the grand final set for 5 September. The winner will secure the region’s sole ticket to the Champions League finals later this year.
