Faure Gnassingbé Outlines Five Pillars for Togo’s Fifth Republic

Faure Gnassingbé delivered a major State of the Nation address to Congress, presenting the vision and foundations of Togo’s new Fifth Republic. He described the shift to a parliamentary system as a historic step meant to deepen accountability, transparency, and democracy.
