Sambiani Yobé has been sworn in as the new president of the Togo Bar Association. He assumed office at the end of last week, succeeding Claude Folly Adama.
His appointment makes him the 15th president in the Bar’s history. Mr. Yobé will lead the association for a three-year term. His role includes defending the interests of lawyers nationwide. He is also expected to promote respect for the rule of law.
The inauguration was held under the theme “Defending the Defense.” The event highlighted the importance of legal defense in a modern justice system.
