Adama Koné, MP for Bouaflé, has been appointed president of the RHDP parliamentary group. The announcement was made during the group’s orientation meeting on February 2 at the party headquarters in Cocody.
The session was chaired by Gilbert Koné Kafana, High Representative of President Ouattara. The meeting highlighted the party’s strategic priorities in the National Assembly for 2026–2030. Koné thanked colleagues for their trust and called for unity and active participation in parliamentary work. He pledged to implement the party’s vision through concrete actions supporting national development.
The appointment aims to strengthen RHDP’s influence and align its legislative efforts with government priorities. Following the December 2025 elections, RHDP won 197 of 255 constituencies, consolidating its majority in parliament.
