Hundreds of mourners gathered at the Green Flavour Events Centre in Tema on May 30 to honour the late actress and entrepreneur Beverly Ama Afaglo-Baah. The one-week remembrance vigil attracted leading figures from Ghana’s film and music industries, including John Dumelo and Joselyn Dumas. Family members, friends and fans gathered to celebrate her life and achievements in the creative arts sector. The atmosphere became emotional when her brother, Caleb Afaglo, shared details of her final health struggles and strong faith. He described her as spiritually resilient despite enduring prolonged medical treatment.
The four-hour vigil featured worship sessions, tributes, scripture readings and musical performances. A torch-lighting ceremony and the release of white and red balloons marked the emotional climax of the event. The family announced that Beverly Afaglo-Baah’s final funeral rites and burial will take place on August 7, 2026.
