Fire Service Seeks Investment In Stations

The Federal Fire Service has urged wealthy Nigerians, philanthropists and corporate organisations to invest in fire stations nationwide, describing emergency response as a collective responsibility.

Controller-General Adeyemi Olumode said Nigeria needs more strategically located stations to reduce response times. He cited community-supported stations in Offa, Oyo and Bonny Island as successful examples.
