Nigeria’s Solid Minerals Minister, Dele Alake, has urged African countries to unite and strengthen control over critical mineral value chains. He warned that fragmented policies weaken the continent’s global bargaining power.
Alake said Africa must move from raw material exports to value-added processing. He emphasized cooperation under AfCFTA to drive industrialisation and job creation.
