Audit of State Assets in Côte d’Ivoire

Under the leadership of Seydou Traoré, the DDCM is using modern digital tools to carry out a nationwide audit. The goal is to accurately identify all state-owned movable assets using handheld devices and to check water and electricity meters. The operation, led by Bassidi Koné, aims to update national databases. The mission began in Touba under the supervision of senior inspection and finance officials. Local authorities welcomed the initiative as important for controlling public spending.

The team then moved to Séguéla and Mankono to strengthen cooperation with local officials. So far, 30 out of 31 regions in Côte d’Ivoire have been covered. The final phase is planned for 2027 in the Gbêkê region to improve state financial management.
