Egypt is preparing a global tender for a $226 million transmission line to connect Gulf of Suez wind farms to its national grid. The 390km project will boost renewable energy integration.
Officials say the country aims for 42% of electricity from renewables by 2030. The project is expected to be completed by mid-2027.
