Ghana Boxing Gets New Identity

The Ghana Boxing Federation has unveiled a new logo at the Media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium. The colourful ceremony brought together officials from the National Sports Authority and the Ghana Olympic Committee.

NSA Director-General Yaw Ampofo Ankrah called for stronger support for amateur boxing and grassroots development. GBF President Dauda Fuseni described the unveiling as a historic milestone for the sport. He said the new logo represents renewal, strength, unity and excellence in Ghanaian boxing. Fuseni, recently appointed to the African Boxing Union board, stressed that the rebrand signals a new chapter.

He added that the federation aims to improve governance, attract partnerships and prepare athletes for major competitions. The ceremony ended with lively kpanlogo performances by the Ghana Boxing Supporters Union, adding cultural colour to the event.
