Kano-Maradi Rail Hits 60 Percent

Nigeria’s Kano-Maradi railway project has reached 60% completion, with engineers reporting steady progress across major corridors. Resident Engineer Ali Bukar confirmed ongoing bridge construction, track laying, and structural installations.

The project, funded under President Bola Tinubu’s infrastructure programme, is expected to be completed by December 2027. Inspection teams also reviewed related projects including flyovers, irrigation systems, and skills centres across the North-West.
